SIEMENS, ECat EXACT 47 with ACS 2 Console
Description: Software level: Ecat version 7.2.1 software installed the end of April 2000 Acquisition/Processing computer: Sun Sparc Ultra 60.  Rod Source: These were last replaced on 11/8/03. Printer: Lexmark Optra 1625- 3 years old The system has been serviced regularly, at 3 monthly intervals, by Siemens Medical Solutions. Siemens reported at the time of deinstallation that there were no problems.

Description: This Siemens /CTI Whole Body PET Scanner is an excellent tool for PET oncology, neurology, FDG cardiology. It was removed by our expert Engineers from clinical and research work in January, 2004. We carefully handled the de-installation to preserve our ability to re-install this system as a working PET. To improve the speed of acquisition, an upgrade is available to permit 3D imaging as well as the current 2D imaging. capability.
